IT’S PURE EVIL.
Some poison-hearted archer slung an arrow into two grazing female burros.
The Saturday horror show had authorities seek out means to mend the poor animals’ craven attacks (on animals that are believed to have been trotting with different herds).
“It’s just heartbreaking,” said several residents [who] wish to remain anonymous, “They’re gentle animals. There was no reason for this, for some cheap thrill.”
A $4,000 reward has been dangled for leads to help lead to the “identification, arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for this horrible act of animal cruelty by deliberately shooting these innocent free-roaming wild burros with an arrow.”
